History<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\"Atrium<\/a>The story of Hamilton\u2019s Davis-McCrory building is\u00a0similar to many of the buildings rehabilitated with\u00a0the Program. Built circa 1875 in First Renaissance\u00a0Revival style, the building served commercial\u00a0functions for more than 100 years, including\u00a0housing the local McCrorys.<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

By the late 1990\u2019s, however, the building\u00a0was vacant and facing potential demolition. \u00a0Redevelopment efforts failed to move forward\u00a0until Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credits enabled the building to be revitalized, bringing\u00a0new employment and residents.<\/span><\/h3>\n
